You assumption is correct Kimberly. Saturdays are good for reading. The thing is, it takes a few days for articles to ramp up in the recommended list (new as of a few months ago). So, when you publish on Wednesday, your piece has more chance of being on reader's radar a few days later, like Saturday. That theory isn't 100% confirmed though.
