While I tend to agree with you on that, I’d argue that working smarter is more important. I know plenty of people who work really hard but are not “successful”.

A great book on that is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert kiyosaki.

Of course, both are not exclusive. A smart and hard worker will outclass anyone.
