I have actually never thought about my writing as a business, but I guess you are right!

For me, I follow this simple “formula”. If I have an idea of a business/project/product, I try to figure out if there’s a way I can scale it down to implementing it and giving at least 60% of the value of the full-blown idea in a single day of work. If so, I do it. If not, I don’t.

Given that thinking, I “accidentally” started a bunch of different things, launched them, and reluctantly put a price tag on it.

The beauty in this is that I start gathering data on how the very bare minimum product does. If it does well, I expand on it. If not, I ultimately kill it. Plus what I think is 100% value is just my opinion. By releasing at 60% value, my customers shape the product in a way to makes sense to them and other people.

Maybe I should write on this topic at one point haha.
