Interesting choice. The average popular article has paragraphs lengths of 35 words, which usualy results in 2 sentences. The reason why it works is because a lot of people read on mobile, and shorter paragraphs read a lot better on mobile.

I personally find that when paragraphs are longer, writers tend to cram too many ideas at once and it makes it more difficult to read.
