Hey Jordan, I understand what you mean, but in my case, it wasn’t judgement, it was awareness. There’s a very important distinction. He who is aware does not judge, he seeks truth.
In that particular case, I “failed” for a few reasons:
- I had not even worked in that sector for over 8 months
- They were looking for a master at the trade, I was not, and didn’t make the effort to be.
- I was good, they were great. I didn’t aim for greatness in that area.
And the fact that I wasn’t even bummed out probably proves that deep down I didn’t want it as much as I thought. Because if I really wanted it, I would have done what’s need to get it, no matter what.
